Our Story
Paisley Paws started with a simple idea: we wanted to do grooming our way.
After years of working as professional groomers throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth and Austin areas, we were ready for a change. We wanted to step away from the corporate side of grooming, build something of our own, and create a more personal experience for our clients and their pets. That journey led us to start Paisley Paws Mobile Grooming, bringing the experience we gained in both DFW and Austin directly to families in Central Texas.
We're Dustin and Shelbe, the husband-and-wife team behind Paisley Paws Mobile Grooming. Shelbe brings 10 years of professional grooming experience, and Dustin brings 7 years of professional grooming experience.
For us, grooming has never been just about giving a pet a great haircut. Some of the best parts of this work are the relationships we build along the way. We get to know the pets we groom, learn what makes them comfortable, and build real relationships with their owners.
Paisley Paws gave us the opportunity to take everything we love about grooming and create a business around it.
Our Background
Professional Training & Experience
Our experience goes far beyond the years we've spent working behind a grooming table. Both of us completed five years of individual technical grooming training and were trained under a Master Groomer, giving us a strong foundation in grooming technique, coat care, handling, safety, and individualized pet care.
Combined with 15 years of professional grooming experience, that training has shaped the way we work today — with attention to detail, patience, and a focus on doing what is best for each individual pet.

Meet Dustin & Shelbe
DUSTIN
Owner • Professional Groomer • 7 Years Experience
Dustin enjoys traditional haircuts and classic breed styles, with Schnauzer cuts being a particular favorite. He enjoys the detail that goes into creating a clean, polished groom while still tailoring each haircut to the individual pet and what works best for their lifestyle.
SHELBE
Owner • Professional Groomer • 10 Years Experience
Shelbe loves the creative side of grooming and enjoys opportunities to do something a little different. From unique styles to creative grooming and pet-safe hair dye, she loves using grooming as a way to have fun, get creative, and give pets a look with a little extra personality.

We welcome dogs and cats of all kinds, personalities, needs, and grooming histories.
We understand that not every pet walks into a grooming appointment feeling completely comfortable. Some are nervous. Some need extra patience. Some simply have their own way of doing things.
Rather than expecting every animal to fit into the exact same grooming routine, we believe in getting to know the individual pet in front of us and working with them as much as safely possible.
We also love learning new things, experimenting with new styles, and continuing to grow as groomers. Whether you're looking for a traditional groom or want to try something a little different, we're always excited to talk about what you have in mind.
